Venture into a world of technology careers, for grades 8-10.

Explore nursing, visual communications, engineering, information technology, culinary arts, automotive, construction, and multicultural activities — all while getting a taste of college life with this residential academy at OSU Institute of Technology!

By applying math and science skills to innovative technology projects, campers will gain insight into all of these fields through hands-on experiences. Collaborate with college students on real-life projects. You’ll learn first-hand how a college degree can help realize your career goals.

How to Apply for the Academy

Students must submit the following information to be considered for admission:

  • A completed application postmarked no later than April 1, 2017.
  • An essay of 100 words or more on why you would like to attend the summer academy and how you think you will benefit if selected.
  • One letter of recommendation, which can be from a teacher, counselor, or administrator from your school, or community leader from your home town.

All sections of the application must be complete to be considered. A screening committee will evaluate each application and make the final selections for the summer academy.
