Komatsu Advanced Career Training Program

OSUIT’s Komatsu Advanced Career Training Program trains students to diagnose, service and maintain Komatsu equipment using factory recommended procedures, special tools and service information. Komatsu has distributors around the world so a career with the construction and mining equipment manufacturer can take students anywhere.

Those selected to be in the two-year Komatsu program will spend half their time on campus for technical instruction on current products and equipment learning the latest diagnostic and service procedures. The rest of the time will be spent getting real-world training through paid internships at Komatsu distributors.

Those who graduate with an Associate in Applied Science in Diesel & Heavy Equipment who complete the Komatsu ACT Program are prepared to understand new systems and components and communicate technically making it easier to advance within the company.
