Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing Training

A study of modern tolerancing concepts, orientation, interpretation and expression of modern tolerancing techniques, measuring devices used in manufacturing process, blueprint reading skills pertaining to machine drawing, form, location of part features and inspection of parts. Engineering standards for this course are ANSI and ASHE Y14.5. This course is specific to Industry and may be adjusted to meet the specific needs of the client.

Instructional Procedures: Approximately 4 theory hours of instruction consisting of 6 units and 4 hours of lab applications. Lab instruction utilizes documents and situations relevant to the manufacturing industry to study the 6 units. Customized courses will utilize specific documents and situations provided by the organization.

  4. Unit 4: Position Tolerance Verification

  6. Unit 6: Location Tolerances
