Nondestructive Testing Training

An 8 hour workshop to demonstrate the correct use of quality check equipment for non-destructive testing. Participants will learn to use each quality check instrument including coordinate measuring machine, optical comparator, Rockwell and Brinell hardness testers, electronic height gage, surface plates, micrometers, calipers, rules and depth gages.

This workshop is offered in 2 sessions, 4 hours each. Sessions can be scheduled on consecutive days or weeks and will be determined by participant input.

Course Outline:

  • Review of quality lab equipment and tools.
  • Demonstration of how to use the equipment and tools.
  • Participants prepare a quality check plan for their part(s).
  • Participants check part(s)

You will:

  • Select the correct equipment and tools for the part to be checked.
  • Perform quality checks with the equipment above.
  • Receive quality check feedback information for your parts.
