Quality System Start-up Assistance

EDTC provides assistance for organizations needing a documented quality management system (QMS). Organizations interested in implementing ISO 9000, AS 9100, ISO 17025 or ISO/TS 16949 based QMS can benefit from EDTC’s experience with establishing quality programs for organizations throughout Oklahoma.

OSU Institute of Technology (OSUIT) organizes QMS development assistance into 5 steps. Step 1 is to develop a strategic plan describing what will be achieved, who will be involved and when it will be completed. Step 2 is writing the quality manual. The Quality Management System Start-up Assistance includes Steps 1 and 2.

Steps 3, 4 and 5 are, respectively: Quality Management System Development Assistance, Quality Management System Auditing Assistance and Quality Management System Maintenance/Revision.

With support from the Oklahoma Department of Commerce. Typically, this start-up assistance enables a business to develop a long range QMS implementation plan, and to develop a quality manual that conforms to the standard needed, i.e. Steps 1 and 2.
