Visiting chefs from Israel get taste of Oklahoma cuisine

For the first two weeks of November, four young chefs from Israel spent time at OSU Institute of Technology’s School of Culinary Arts to learn about the food and cooking techniques popular in the U.S., and Oklahoma, and in turn, to teach Oklahomans a little about Israeli cuisine.

Every few years Chenniappan Gopalakrishnan, or Gopal as he is known, joins his fellow class of 1971 graduates from the Air Conditioning and Refrigeration program for a reunion on campus. He’s now working with OSUIT’s International Office on increasing enrollment of students from India and on building partnerships and relationships with other reputable technical schools in India.

Swiss consul visits OSUIT, gives presentation on home country

Andreas Maager, Consul General of Switzerland in Atlanta, visited OSU Institute of Technology Friday as a part of a special trip to Oklahoma to further strengthen ties between Switzerland and Oklahoma.

UPAEP Student Group Hosted for Educational Exchange

This summer, OSU Institute of Technology welcomed a group of eleven students and one faculty member from Universidad Popular Autonoma del Estado de Puebla (UPAEP) in an exchange geared towards enhancing mutual understanding and learning. The group from Puebla, Mexico, spent four weeks in Oklahoma where they attended university classes, toured various business and industry facilities, and experienced the local culture.
