Oklahoma State University Institute of Technology is proud to offer our workshops and special events. Each workshop was created to help ANY college-bound student.

There is no charge for any of our workshops or events. Parents, teachers, counselors, workforce and TRiO advisors and interested adults are more than welcome to join us too!

ACT Prep Workshop

The first in our series is the ACT PREP Workshop, which will teach students strategies on how to approach each subtest (English, math, reading and science,) how to study and general tips on taking the ACT exam.

Advisement Day

Advisement days are an event for all prospective students that plan to attend OSUIT OR any prospective students that are currently undecided and seeking advisement.  Please choose one of the dates below to register for your Advisment Day!

Afternoon with Pete

Join us for an Afternoon with Pete!  Afternoon with Pete is a special weekend event for campus visits and financial aid workshops.  We will be offering full campus tours, academic program visits, admissions information and a variety of Financial Aid sessions, including financial literacy, scholarship search and we can also help you file your FAFSA online.

Pistol Pete will be onsite for pictures from 12:30 p.m. - 1:15 p.m.

Career Services Workshops

Career Services is excited to offer different workshops throughout the semester. These include resume development workshops, etiquette luncheons, and LinkedIn workshops for students as well as faculty and staff. If you have any questions about any of these workshops, please contact Rendi or Teresa at 918-293-5248. 

Classroom Workshop

Classroom workshops are hands-on and interactive presentations that incorporate audiovisual components and handouts/exercises to engage various learning styles. Presentations are approximately 40 minutes.

International Open House

Join us for a very special International Education Week event! Who’s invited? International educators, staff, counselors and non-immigrant students enrolled in high school or ESL programs. This free event will strengthen collective understanding of reporting requirements and the standard procedures for transitioning into college as an international student.

Scholarship & Financial Aid Workshop

The Scholarship and Financial Aid Workshop is designed to help students understand the various types of financial aid, learn how to write a good scholarship essay and how to apply to multiple resources for scholarships.
