Student Union & Auxiliary Services

While working closely with academic and administrative areas on campus as a part of Student Services, Student Union & Auxiliary Services provides facilities, services, and programs that are responsive to student’s developmental needs and to the physical, social, recreational and continuing educational needs of the campus and community through compliance with University policies and procedures, State and Federal regulations, and external contracts. Student Union & Auxiliary Services has become an integral part of the institutions educational environment and campus community.

Student Union & Auxiliary Services oversees and is responsible for the successful operation of the following areas:

Located in the center of campus, the Student Union houses the Campus Bookstore, the Cafeteria, the Copy Center, Campus Health Services, the Campus Post Office, Campus ATM Machine, and the OSUIT Veterans Lounge.

The Student Union has (3) lounges available for student use. The PSO Lounge has an attached solarium and both indoor and outdoor seating. Students use the PSO Lounge as a meeting place in between classes or as an alternative eating location. Adjacent to the PSO Lounge, the ONG Lounge has become a favorite place for students to eat, hang out, and relax.

The Viersen Lounge, more removed from the activity, is quiet and perfect for studying or quiet conversation. In addition, there are (3) meeting rooms and (1) conference available for use by recognized OSUIT Student Organizations, Academic and Administrative Offices as well as local Community Service Organizations.
